A Yin Yoga practice that includes a peaceful meditation/setting an intention, warm up stretches, then easing into the asanas (postures) that will be held for 1-3 minutes on each side. Focusing on flexibility and relaxation by targeting the fascia- also known as connective tissue- around the joints: mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum and spine. 10 minutes of peaceful relaxation (Savasana) to close the class.
Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels, beginners who are particularly stiff should have some props nearby (blankets, blocks, bolsters, pillows, etc.). This live streaming class takes place every Friday at 9:00 a.m. est.

*Class may be last-minute cancelled. Pre-registrants will get an email when this happens. Cancelling is rare, but if it happens it's likely due to illness, or an unexpected emergency.

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 17 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat.
