Yin Yoga and Meditation with Tammy

A Yin Yoga practice that includes a peaceful meditation/setting an intention, warm up stretches, then easing into the asanas (postures) that will be held for 1-3 minutes on each side. Focusing on flexibility and relaxation by targeting the fascia- also known as connective tissue- around the joints: mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum and spine. 10 minutes of peaceful relaxation (Savasana) to close the class.

Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels, beginners who are particularly stiff should have some props nearby (blankets, blocks, bolsters, pillows, etc.). This in person class takes place every Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Suggested Donation $5-$10

ABOUT YOGA TEACHER TAMMY

Tammy More is an online yoga teacher who has a passion for helping people live a life of health and well-being. Yoga has been a part of my life for over 20 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. In my classes, I love to combine mindful sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
