This Yin Yoga sequence is designed for beginners as well as advanced yoga practitioners. Yin Yoga is a passive practice and a nice balance to the yang (active) style of yoga. The body benefits from yin yoga focusing on the fascia-also known as the connective tissues.
The Three Principles of Yin:
For this practice, we will hold the poses for 1-3 minutes, except for Savasana which will be 10 minutes of peaceful rest.
What you will need for this practice:
Yoga Mat
2 Yoga Blankets, Large Towels or Bed Pillows
2 Yoga Blocks if you have them available
Remember to listen to your body and do what feels good for you.
