Affirmation: "I practice with patience and kindness"
This mindful movement vinyasa sequence begins standing in a comfortable position on the mat, settling into the space, tuning into breath and bringing in a Sankalpa (intention) for yoga practice. Warming up the body with neck, shoulder and hip stretches, greeting the day with Sun Saluations, standing asanas (poses) for leg strength, balance and flexibility. Mindfully moving to seated asanas (poses) for the hips, front and back body. Binding it all together with several minutes of peaceful Savasana or Constructive Rest.
