This mindful movement vinyasa sequence begins in a comfortable standing position, moving the body in any way that feels good for you to be able to settle into your space and be present. Rooting through the feet and rising up through the spine all the way to the crown of the head, closing the eyes, connecting with the breath and setting a Sankalpa (intention) for yoga practice. Greeting the day with Suryanamaskara (Sun Salutation) to warm the entire body, then moving with mindful awareness through asanas (poses) to stretch the side body, hips and legs. Closing the sequence with seated asanas, and a peaceful Savasana.
