Find Spaciousness in your Body

Yoga offers us the experience of spaciousness in our bodies. Spaciousness can be defined as the opposite of tightness. Tightness can take up residence in any part of our body, and when it does, we feel limited, constricted, and uncomfortable. It can be the result of tension and stress, or of muscle overuse or lack of use. Our bodies feel spacious when we loosen up the tight areas to create a greater range of motion and flexibility. We feel like we can move in ways we previously couldn't.
